Open the QR code's Settings page. Each part has its own save button.
Active and name
- Active: inactive codes show an "unavailable" page when scanned. Your plan sets how many codes can be active at the same time: the free plan allows 3.
- Name: shown in your list of QR codes and as the browser tab title of the scan page. Up to 80 characters.
Choose Save settings to keep the changes.
Random result and odds
- Random result on: each scan picks one active item at random, using the rarity odds. Off: every scan shows your default item, and visitors can step through the rest. See Items, rarity and odds.
- Rarity odds: the chance of each tier on a scan, in percent: Common, Rare and Legendary. The default is 70%, 25% and 5%. Each one can be from 0 to 100, and at least one must be above 0. Tiers with no active items are skipped, and the others are scaled up to fill the gap.
Show rarity badge gives rare and legendary results a badge on the scan page. The odds only matter while Random result is on.
Choose Save odds to keep the changes.
Password
Set a password to make visitors type it before they see anything. Use at least 4 characters.
- Set password, Change password or Remove password.
- Once visitors unlock the code, their phone remembers it for 12 hours. Changing the password locks everyone out again.
- After 10 wrong tries, a visitor must wait 15 minutes. The password page also runs a quick automatic check that the visitor isn't a robot; it usually finishes before they've typed the password.
- Links still need the password: the link page (and its countdown) only shows after the code is unlocked.
A code with a password shows a Password badge next to its name.
