Get started

Want to see one first? Open the demo QR code: every scan shows one of its items, sometimes a rare one or a demo prize.
1. Create a QR code
In the app panel, choose New QR code and give it a name. Each code gets its own scan link. The link never changes, so you can print the code before its content is final.
New codes start inactive: scans show an "unavailable" page until you turn them on.
2. Add items
Items are what people see when they scan. Open Items in the code's menu (or the list icon next to the code in the sidebar) and add one or more:
- Text: a message shown on the scan page.
- Link: the scan shows the item's page with the full web address, then opens the website after 5 seconds. Visitors can open it right away or choose Stay here.
- Image: a picture (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF, up to 3 MB), with an optional caption under it (web addresses in it become links) and an optional link: tapping the picture opens it, and a preview under it shows the site and address. Unlike a Link item, nothing opens by itself.
- Video: a YouTube or Twitch video, clip or channel, played on the scan page.
With Random result on (in the code's Settings), each scan picks one item. Rarity and odds decide how often each one comes up. See Items, rarity and odds.
The code's Overview shows its scan link and a Go to card for each of its pages (Items, Look, QR code, Integrations, Prizes, No win, Stats, Settings, Export), the same pages as in the menu.
3. Turn it on
On the code's Settings page, switch it to Active. Your plan sets how many codes can be active at the same time: the free plan allows 3.
4. Download and print
On the QR code's QR code page, choose a color and download:
- SVG for print: it stays sharp at any size.
- PNG for screens, slides and social posts. Pick its size: web (512 px), standard (1024 px), large print (2000 px) or your own, from 128 to 2000 px.
Image in the middle: add a small logo in the center, or use Use my logo to take the logo from the QR code's look. While an image is set, damage tolerance is set to the highest so the code still scans. The image stays on your device and isn't uploaded.
Files are named after the scan link, for example qr-ab12cd34ef.png, so each file matches its code.
Test the printed code with a phone before you print many copies. Dark codes on a light background scan best; the page warns you if the contrast is too low.
Copy or back up QR codes
- One code: on its Export page, choose what to include and Download file.
- All your codes: Download all QR codes in Account. Keep the file private: it holds your prize codes.
- Import: Import on your QR codes page takes either file. Each code becomes a new one with its own scan link, switched off until you turn it on.
More in Import and export.
5. Check your stats
Stats shows scans per day, unique visitors, which items came up and how often. See Stats.
